Meet My Boys

Wanted to remember some things about my three sons.  So I am writing them down so I won't forget.

Brock James:  aka Brock the Rock:  My number one son...who holds that title for a whole 2 minutes.  Cars! Cars! Cars!  Very much into cars.  Loves to ride in other people's vehicles.  I was having a hard time getting him to leave a car show to go to his baseball practice.  But he instantly change his tune when I told him Aunt Megan and Uncle Joel were taking him.  "Do I get to ride in their van Mommy?"  "Yes, son."  "I'm so excited!! I've never been in their van before!"  Lesson learned by mom:  have him ride in someone else's car!!  He also has an imagination that is out of this world!!  Loves to pretend play.  He often informs me that he is going to live in a trailer when he gets big.  He is also going to have a wife in a wheelchair. (have no idea where this came from) And they will be married at the catholic church. Together they will have five children.  Better yet, he even knows their names, Abby, Lindsey, James, Richard, and Andrew.   I told him the other day he would need a bigger house with all those kids and he replied, "No, I don't Mommy, they are going to sleep on the floor."  His children will also go to daycare.  Not just any daycare, but the daycare Elizabeth, Eli, and Zachary go to.  Brock's job will be at the Seymour hospital where he will work in the pharmacy. (thanks Uncle Justin)  His wife will be working at the Madison Wal-Mart.  He also informs me when he gets old he is going to die at the Seymour hospital.  See what I mean about an imagination?  He is amazing!!  Brock also likes to pretend play with power lines.  Loves to "make" power lines in the basement at mamaw Kim's.  He enjoys looking out the window in the van at all the power lines.  Brock and Blaine often fight about who sits on what side of the van because that side is the one with the power lines.  Brock is also a very curious boy.  He is always watching what is going on around him.  This can cause problems with his listening.  But I know this is also a "boy" trait and his father is the same way.  Brock has a very sensitive heart.  He crys when others cry.  He can't watch a sad movie, or tv show without hiding his head or leaving the room.

Blaine Richard:  aka Blaine the Train:  My number one son, again.  Bulls! Bulls! Bulls! but you have to say it like Blaine says it...really draw out the u where it almost sounds like an a.  Blaine loves animals.  Loves farming.  He is into wearing jeans now.  Even when it is 87 degrees outside.  He dressed himself the other day.  He looked himself over a few times and said "John Deere shirt, long pants, and cowboy boots. I look like a real farmer."  Blaine also enjoys our dogs Skipper and Charlie.  He wanted to know if they knew who God was.  I told him I wasn't sure.  Blaine's response. "Well probably not because they haven't been to church.  But they should know who he is because God made them."  Blaine always is asking questions. And not just normal questions but hard to answer questions that normally pertain to God.   Today we were at Brush Creek school playing and he asked me "Mom, could God sit on this tiny little tree limb and not break it?"  I never know what question he will come up with next.  Unlike his brother Brock, he has no intentions of getting married.  Because when you get married you have to kiss a girl, and  he is NOT kissing a girl.  He wants to live at home forever and work on power lines. (thank you Daddy) Blaine is very interested in power lines.  Wants to know what substation is what and if it is a Duke power line or REMC power line.  It is constant in the van when we are going somewhere is this Duke or REMC powerlines?  I haven't a clue so I will just guess and then Blaine will tell me if I am wrong or right.  Blaine loves to play all kinds of ball.  Right now it is baseball.  He gets into it.  He can't wait for the games.  He is doing really well at baseball.  Next up will be soccer season and he is already looking forward to that.

Brogan Jake: aka Brogan the hulk Hogan:  My baby.  Brogan is a wild child.  He is into everything.  Runs around everywhere, can't take your eyes off him for one second.  I thought having twins was hard, how much could one more be?  Well, he is here to prove me wrong.  I think he is more work than the twins were.  Brogan loves to be outside.  You bring him indoors and he has a fit.  He also loves dogs, balls, slides, and music.  This child is a dancer.  He has soul.  I turn on music and he immediately starts to move.  Doesn't matter where we are either, if music is playing he is a dancin. He is also a car lover!  At the age of 13months he could officially make the car sound while running a car on the floor.  All boy, total Ison!! Tonight Brogan made my night.  I was in the kitchen doing dishes he was whining around at my feet.  He kept pulling on my legs, so i picked him up.  He looked at me and gave me a kiss!!!  Mouth wide open and all!! (that is how he kisses)  This is the first time he has ever kissed me without asking for it.

I am overjoyed to be called momma by such amazing children of God.  Thank you Jesus for letting me be their Momma.
